This book of proceedings provides to scientists and engi-neers from both industry and academia an overview of the latest developments, current practices and future trends in adaptive optics and related fields.

The book content is based on the presentations held in the 10th International Workshop on Adaptive Optics for Industry and Medicine (2015) which took place in Padova, Italy.

Stefano Bonora studied Electronical Engineering at the University of Padova where he received his Ph.D. degree in 2007. He is researcher for the National Council of Re-search of Italy, Institute of Photonics and Nanotechnology. From 2013 he is involved in the high power laser facility Hi-lase (Czech Republic) as part time researcher. Stefano Bo-nora has developed a research line in the design, realization and application of deformable mirrors and adaptive lenses. During his activity, he collaborated with many foreign and Italian institutes supplying them adaptive optics systems for ultrafast laser compression and shaping, for high power la-ser focusing, microscopy and in vivo medical imaging
